Aldersgate Camp Staff will be at our church this Sunday
Camp Staff from Aldersgate Camp will be with us this coming Sunday (06/06/2010) to worship with us. In the staff this year is our very own Zac Morrison. This makes Zac second year with Aldersgate Camp Staff and he is truly excited about being apart of such a wonderful group of young people.

Vacation Bible School:
VBS MEETING
There will be a short meeting after church this Sunday.
Anyone who wishes to help with Vacation Bible School needs to attend this meeting.
June 13-17 6:00-8:30pm. *REMINDER* If you signed up to donate or let VBS borrow any items please bring them to the church this Sunday, June 6th. SET UP FOR VBS will be Sunday, June 13th after church. If anyone can stay and help it would be greatly appreciated. A few men will be needed to move some bigger items.

Church Softball Team
If you are interested in playing on the church softball team please contact Michael Deaton or the church office ASAP.
Church Yard Sale
June 4th and 5th. Half the proceeds will be given to the Red Bird Mission School & the other half will go to help our children's work area. Donations can be brought to the fellowship hall this week. Please call the church office 987-1630 or Larry Klinefelter 987-6263 or 435-0123 for drop off times. A lot of volunteers are needed to help set up on Thursday, June 3rd between 1:00 and 5:00pm and to help pack up on Saturday, June 5th around 4:00pm. A few people are needed to help run the sale on Friday and Saturday. If you can help please contact Larry Klinefelter ASAP.
Youth Information
Youth Mission Trip is on June 19-26. The Youth will be going to Tampa Bay, Florida to work on a variety of projects, including ministry to the homeless, Hispanics, the deaf and elderly as well as home repair. The Youth wish to thank everyone who helped them raise the money they needed for this trip. NO YOUTH JUNE 20th, JUNE 27th or JULY 4th.

Family Picnic & Fishing
June 27th after church at the Mulhollem/Cravens Farm for an afternoon of fun with a picnic lunch and fishing. All families are invited.
Children's Ministry Activities
Monkey Around for God: JULY 20th ~ This is a one day camp given by the Children's Ministry for children ages 2 years to rising 6th grade (12 years and younger). The cost is $10 per child. Children should arrive at the church at 8:00am and be picked up between 4:00 and 5:30pm. They will have a lesson, games, crafts, and snacks + they will be going to Monkey Joe's in Lexington for lunch and fun. Registration is June 20th-July 11th. You may cancel any time before July 11th with a full refund.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE:
June 9th~12th
COMMUNION SUNDAY:
The first Sunday of each month. The next Communion date is March 7th.
If anyone would be interested in serving Communion in 2010, please see Donna Gosser. She would like to make a list of people in order to schedule in advance. She will need 4 people for each service. Regularly scheduled Communion dates are the first Sunday of each month.
Wednesday Evening Meal & Children's Choir Practice:
Has resumed. It started on January 6th, please feel free to come. Please let the church know if you are coming for the meal, so they have a head count on how many to they are going to feed.
Bourbon Heights Bingo:
Tuesday, February 23rd @ 7:00pm.
Church Bus:
If your group needs to use the Church Bus, there is a sign up sheet outside the office door. Please write your groups name on the appropriate dates & the approximate times you will be needing the bus.
