At Paris First United Methodist Church we have several programs for you and your family to get involved in. We are starting a new program call Total Body Fitness and Workout Class.
WE WILL BE COLLECTING A SPECIAL OFFERING THIS SUNDAY (03/11/2012) ON BEHALF OF THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE TO AID THE TORNADO VICTIMS FROM LAST WEEK'S STORMS

Children's Ministry **Spaghetti Lunch**:
Please plan on attending the Children's Spaghetti Lunch after morning worship on Sunday, March 11th. This is a fund raiser for the Children's Ministry Mission Project.
Youth Mission Meeting:
Sunday, March 11th @ 3:00pm.
Finance Meeting:
Wednesday, March 14th @ 7:30pm
Annual Youth **Potato Bake**:
Next Sunday, March 18th after morning worship.
The Youth will provide a potato lunch with all the toppings and sides. This is a fundraiser for the Youth Mission Trip.
UMM:
Thursday, March 22nd @ 6:30pm. . Guest Speaker: Lee Padgett will share activities at Aldersgate and plans for a new lodge & dining hall complex.
All local meetings begin @ 6:30pm with dinner. Guests & first time attendees eat free. For all others the cost of the meal is $5.00.
There is a short business meeting before the program.

Children's Ministry **Aldersgate Trip**:
For anyone who is interested in attending camp this summer. Camp is for anyone entering 3rd grade through 12th grade. April 14th we will be taking a trip to see the camp. Parents are welcome to attend this trip as well. Sign-up sheets are in the Jr. Church Room or see Heidi Smits.

Mountain Mission :
The Mountain Mission Truck will be here to pick up your donations on Tuesday, April 10th.
They are in urgent need of dishes, pot & pans, uniforms (scrubs), socks, underwear, toilet paper, paper towels, rubber bands, garbage bags & bleach. Plus any & all of the other wonderful items you are willing to donate.
Donations can be dropped off in the Fellowship Hall beginning Sunday, April 1st—Monday, April 9th.
Ever wonder what the old church looked like?
Total Body Fitness is looking for donations or funding:
People have asked Mike Morrison how they can help him with the Total Body Fitness. Mike say first off pray that he is leading this group of people to a healthier lifestyle and getting in shape. Secondly, if you have weights, machines, workout mats...etc that you can donate, Mike will come and pick them up. Just get in touch with him at the church. He also has a fund (that is NOT a budget item) that you can donate to. All you have to ear mark your check or envelope for the money to go to "Total Body Workout". We are in need of everything. Mike has to bring in the weights and stuff every week. The weights and mats and etc will stay with the church forever.
The Total Body Fitness. This class if for everyone, and he means everyone. He will modify the exercises to meet your needs. If interested please like Mike know. We are meeting on Tuesday and Thursday at the Fellowship Hall at the Church. We are starting the classes at 6:30 and it will last about 45 minutes to an hour. Please come and join in....everyone is welcome. It is free and all you need is water and towel and a workout attitude.
